When you do become a fan of Paytm, you would want to save in your card details for further use. Rest assured, it is a completely safe site.

With Paytm you can also recharge your television’s DTH, and even your Data Card. With every recharge, users are delighted with deals. This is in fact, a must giveaway for making the site count among users who want value for money.

Paytm believes that the money is yours until you get what you ordered for! And therefore, a failed transaction would mean that your money would be credited back to your Paytm Wallet that you can use in your next dealing.

A great thing about Paytm is that, apart from the obvious services, it also lets you pay the Electricity and also the Gas bills. If you are a subscriber of either one of BSES Rajdhani, BSES Yamuna, Reliance Energy, MSEB Mumbai, NDPL, or Mahanagar Gas, Paytm gives an easy, queue free service to pay all your bills.

Shopping with Paytm

Since it is ‘Handcrafted in India’, Paytm knows its audience well. Each product comes up with a description box, discount details, the price, and a Bargain Chat! That’s true! You have the power to bargain with the seller, like you would normally do at the counter.

Lots of shopping deals are available with Paytm. From gifts to home décor, and from food to electronics, this mobile app covers a lot of options.

The Paytm website has an added feature of booking Bus Tickets. Surprisingly, this one is not available on the mobile application. Although in the previous versions it was available, it is a strange omission this time.

The app doesn’t even have the essential Paytm Cash option for payment. It also doesn’t have the important front page deals that you can see on its website.

The Bottom Line

Paytm iOS app is smooth to work with. It has a lot more features than expected out of an ecommerce application. Paytm works equally well with iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone. All it requires is iOS 6.0 or later. With just a 10.9MB free download from the App Store, it is a must have application for your device.

Abhirup is our guest blogger on education apps and thought partner. He harbors certain thoroughly misguided self-impressions like he has a refined aesthetic sense (our website’s visuals are NOT inspired by his ideas) or that he has a deep baritone. However, we choose to ignore these as he sometimes comes up with good ideas notwithstanding the fact that they are articulated in confusing managerial jargon; perhaps explained by the fact that he is an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
