Google Apps is a suite of services from Google that provides independently customizable versions of several Google products using a domain name provided by the customer. It includes Google Apps for Business, Education and Government.

If you are a Google Apps user and want to sync in your account details on your iOS device follow the steps, to Set up Google Sync with your iOS Device.

Step 1: Go to Settings.

Step 2: Scroll down to Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tap.

Step 3: Go to Accounts, and tap ‘Add Account’.

Step 4: Tap on ‘Exchange’ (and not Google).

Step 5: Enter your Google Apps registered Email, and Password. Description would come as Exchange by default.

Step 6: Click Next.

Step 7: Enter the Server as ‘’, leave the Domain field blank, and enter the Username and the Password as before.

Step 8: Click Next. The account would be verified by the server.

Step 9: To sync in Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders, toggle the buttons to green. Click Save.

Step 10: The account is now added to your iDevice. You can see your Google Apps Contacts, Calendars, Mails and Reminders synced to your mobile device with iOS in it.

If you are a Google Apps user you would know how helpful it is for a domain of users. And to have it on your own iOS Device makes it all the more comfortable.
