In case you are one of those iDevice users who love to keep the privacy of their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch intact by activating a pass-code for it, you are living in old times. While we recently covered Convergance, a complete lock screen replacement for your iPhone, we have something new already in store. Imagine if you could just draw your password in a blank slate screen to unlock your device about ten-times faster than it used to take by entering a passcode? A similar concept already has been put to action by jailbreak developer Adam Bells.

Stride 2, the successor of Stride, as the name suggests offers a way of unlocking your iDevice by simply drawing your recorded password with your fingers. That’s right. You no longer need to input your pre-set password when asked. Simply draw the one figure you chose to set as your lock-screen password, and you are good to go. Once installed, you can simply navigate to its preferences to record an unlocking figure, and your device will remember it whenever you draw it on your lock screen to unlock it. The tweak provides you with a blank canvas to let you practice a particular figure you draw with your fingers. Here’s how to get Stride 2 on your iDevice .

NOTE: Please note that Stride 2 is a jailbreak tweak and you cannot install it until you have jailbroken your iDevice. Also, jailbreaking may void your device’s manufacturers warranty and make it immune to the OTA updates coming from Apple. In case you wish to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running on iOS 7+, follow our step by step tutorial below.

Step 1: Simply navigate to Cydia application on your device’s springboard. Once the dashboard opens up, navigate to Search button on lower navigation menu and then type Stride 2 in the search box to search for the tweak. Stride 2 is currently available for $2.99 USD under the infamous BigBoss repo, however you can download the cracked version of the tweak for free by following the tutorial below.
